The Singapore National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (SINCPEC) is a member committee of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC). SINCPEC comprises representatives from business and industry, government and academia.
What is PECC?
The Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) is a non-governmental body in the Asia Pacific, to promote co-operation and policy coordination across the network of the 23 member countries.
It is a unique tripartite partnership of senior individuals from business & industry, government, academic and other intellectual circles
As the only non-government official observer of APEC, it is able to address economic issues and measures free from constraints of formal government policies & relationships
